The hardware development tasks in a project typically start at an overall top level and extend down and through to every electronic feature of the product. It may involve wiring, user interfaces, sensors, drivers, controls and numerous other inputs and outputs. Typically involves a circuit board of some type, probably a microcontroller, memories, communication interfaces, and peripheral devices.
